  1. Hi,
I am looking to purchase a push up type pianocorder for my piano. Do you know of any? Will someone be able to work on these and find parts say 10 yrs from now? Are you still able to find parts?
    Thanks for any info.!

    1. Hi,
Still searching for a Vorsetzer. Thought I had found one, turned out to be a pneumatically operated model from the late 1920's. Not a pianocorder, but the original type the pianocorder was designed after. I will keep looking until I find one.

  2. Hello JR,
Thank you for your post. I will be glad to help you locate a Vorzettzer type pianocorder. Although pianocorder has been out of production since 1984, parts are still readily available for them. I know of a source, a technician who "rebuilds" the electronic boards with newer, more reliable parts, and the end result is a pianocorder that plays and sounds better today, than it did when it was new. I am located in the Philadelphia metro area, and am still actively servicing existing pianocorders, as I have for the past 34 years. I will research your request, and keep in touch with you. Pianocorder was the FIRST all digital player unit that could be installed (internally or externally) in any acoustic piano from a spinet to a grand. Yamaha bought the rights to Pianocorder around 1983, and shelved the product in 1984, using the cassette tape system of the Pianocorder as the basis for the floppy disk system of their Disk Clavier units. As computers were emerging onto the realm at that time, Pianocorder still remains the most flexible product of its type today. I can help you get parts and programs so you can control your Pianocorder from your computer, as original tapes have deteriorated over the years, but digital e-copies can be had. What area are you located, so I can also supply you with shipping info as well. You can contact me at:
